ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Jay Gulley, the frontman of the renowned Athens band Modern Skirts, has garnered acclaim for their albums through tours across the US and Europe, earning praise from esteemed media outlets like Paste Magazine and National Public Radio. R.E.M. bassist Mike Mills even hailed them as his favorite Athens band in a post Hall of Fame interview in 2007. It's a rare treat to catch Jay performing these days, making his upcoming show in Comer all the more exciting.
Aslyn, a classically trained pianist and singer-songwriter, released her debut album "Lemon Love" on Capitol Records in 2005. With a diverse repertoire, she's shared stages with artists ranging from Chris Isaak to Washed Out, Zac Brown Band to Ke$ha. She resides right here in Madison County, and is proudly representing Comer Coffee!
Klark approaches music as a journey of exploration, delving beyond the confines of body and mind. A versatile musician and songwriter, he's a unique presence in the industry. Aslyn encountered Klark at Tweed Recording in Athens back in 2022. Presently residing in Atlanta, he is busy releasing and touring with both his solo project, Klark Sound, and his band, My Improvement Movement.
